Hello Kate. Of course it is possible. You can achieve it easily with some content modules like mine content box. Let me show you how to achieve this step by step. Firstly please download the module and install it in your shop. Then open module configuration page. Please folow steps described below.

How to add google translate to PrestaShop?

  1. Open google translate widget page that is available here: Google translate plugin
  2. Fill out "website Info" section with your shop URL and select your shop language (screenshot)
  3. In section related to "Plugin settings" select specification of the plugin that you want to add to your shop (screenshot)
  4. In section "add plugin" copy the code of the widget from window (screenshot)
  5. Go back to your shop back office, to html box pro module configuration page
  6. Activate "header" hook (screenshot)
  7. Click on (+) button to add new block to this hook
  8. Fill out form with specifiication of the block. Define the name of the block (for example: translation tool) and paste the code you copied in step (4) to the box (screenshot)
  9. If you've got more languages, for each language copy the code but remember to change the language in step (2) "Website info"
  10. save changes - that's all!

Module will create box at the top of the window, where you will have google translate widget. If someone will select language from this widget, plugin will automatically translate the website for your vistor! Great tool, you can test it here: google translate example.
