in PrestaShop you can't delete any orders. So, that's a problematic thing because very often orders are placed by mistake, often for fun. All of this can significantly slow down our PrestaShop performance. It's because our database getting not worthy  junks. I mean by this that in our database exists a lot of fake orders ;) But it's not a problem! Because you can delete all fake orders with this step by step tutorial.

This tutorial and module described here works in PrestShop 1.3.x - 1.5.x

Free module for deleting orders in our PrestaShop store

Delete Orders Free is module for shops based on PrestaShop engine in versions 1.3.x - 1.5.x. With this module you can easily and permanently remove fake orders from your shop. This module is clean and simple, so everyone should deal with the handling of it. Main feature in this free addon is form where you put the ORDER ID which you want to delete and clicks on delete button. That's all :). Now I will write how to install this module. For the first - you must download the Delete Orders In PrestaShop free module. You can also purchase professional version of this module named Delete Orders Pro. 

How to delete orders in PrestaShop using our free module - step by step tutorial

1. Download the module from our site and install it in your PrestaShop

As we say: for the first you must download the Delete Orders In PrestaShop free module. Save zipped module file in your hard disc and log in into your PrestaShop back office. Go to "modules" sub-tab in "modules" tab. Exactly as we show on image below:

Now you must click Add new module and you will see form, where you must add downloaded module file from your disc. So, add correct delete orders free module file and click "Upload this module" button, exactly as we show below:

After uploading process you must install this module. So, find module on modules list. Search "Delete Orders Free" module and click install near the module name and description.

After properly installation you will se message:

Ok, that's all in module installation process. Now we can use this feature to deleting orders in our shop. Go to next step below.

2. Deleting Orders in Prestashop - procedure

Delete orders free module creates new sub-tab in main "Orders" tab in your shop back-office.  

Fill form with correct ORDER ID and click on trash button to delete it from shop database. Remember, you must confirm all deletions by clicking YES / OK in message box:
