Today I want to show you how easily you can remove 'Themes catalog' menu item in PrestaShop 1.7 back office. Themes catalog menu item is available under "Design" section in shop back office. There you can find a catalog of official addons marketplace themes. It's there for advertising purposes only and it is there totally useless.

Remove "themes catalog" menu item

From technical point of view to remove this menu item we need to alter PrestaShop database. But no worries - you dont have to do it by yourself manually with SQL commands. How to remove theme catalog menu in PrestaShop

1. Download free module to manage admin menu in prestashop 1.7
2. install module in your shop back office
3. go to advanced parameters > menu section
4. you will see there list of main menu items
5. click "details" near "improve" menu item [ see screenshot ]
6. on the next page click 'details' near 'design' menu item [ see screenshot ]
7. on the next page click on 'delete' near 'Theme catalog' menu item [ see screenshot ]
8. done! you sucessfully removed the 'Theme catalog' menu item
