In this video you can learn about duplicating of PrestaShop theme. This step is necessary if we use default-bootstrap theme. It's because upgrade process of prestashop will overwrite all changes that we made for theme files. This means that we will loose all changes that we applied to the theme. To avoid this we have to duplicate theme and instead of original one - we have to use duplicated one. Then Upgrade process of prestashop will not overwite modified theme files.
