If you're looking for a feature that will allow you to define some additonal custom contents for your category pages - this guide is exactly for you. Based on this tutorial you can create additional descriptions (images, custom code etc.) separated from default "description" on category pages. Each category can have own unique content - this means that you can put some customization for any category you want.

Custom contents on category pages

1. Module used in this guide is html box pro , you can create custom hooks with other free addon like hooks manager . 
2. open html box pro module configuration page
3. scroll page down to form "add new hook"
   put there name of the new hook: "categoryPageHook"
4. click on "add hook" button
5. enable new "categoryPageHook" (to enable tick selectbox near the hook name)
   go to category.tpl file that is available in your theme directory (themes/your-theme/category.tpl)
6. put there this shortcode: {hook::exec('categoryPageHook')} - put this code there, where you want to add new contents
   save changes to category.tpl file
7. go back to module configuration page and create new block in your new hook
8. on block settings page select option to display block only on selected category pages and provide the ID of the category page
9. save block

now your block will appear only on selected category page. Of course you can create such block on each category page, or on more category pages. You can create unlimited blocks in this hook, and you can also create new hooks and put them to category.tpl file. In that way you will have possibility to create unlimited number of places, where you will be able to use custom contents. Videoguide attached below.
