We are pleased to inform that we updated our module for AJAX dropdown categories named: step by step categories filter. This prestashop addon is great feature to change way of displaying categories tree. In addition this module increases performance of shop due to the fact that categories and subcategories are loaded dynamically with ajax queries. This method of generating category tree reduces page load time. 

What's new in this addon?

We added a lot of new features. We also extended module configuration page, where you can manage the module settings and configure new features. Check picture attached below, you will see changes there:

1. We fixed minor problems with SSL connection
2. We changed module .tpl file - now it is handling hooks much better than before
3. We changed engine of selectboxes generation, it generates boxes much faster now
4. New feature to define labels of selectboxes with categories dropdown
5. You can display label inside select box
6. You can display label above select box
7. You can display number of products in a category (in brackets, after category name)
