In PrestaShop when you run several shops based on Multistore feature you can't manage language/currencies for these shops individually. When you will try to manage these settings under localization > currencies or localization > languages you will see notification: Note that this page is available in all shops context only, this is why your context has just switched. This means that you can manage availability of languages and/or currencies globally, for all shops. The same situation is with default language and/or default currency - it can be managed globally only. So if you will have several shops where you expect to offer different currencies to use and/or different languages - by default in prestashop it is not possible. Shops will have exactly the same languages and currencies with the same default language and default currency. It can be problematic if you expect to sell products in shops dedicated for various countries.
