How to add Twitter widget for free?

Today I will write how to add Twitter feed widget in our shop for free, by using our free module HTML Box. With this free module you can add any code like CSS/JS/HTML in most important places in our shop front-office. For the first you must download our module right from module page on our website:

With this module you can add to your shop "client side code"  like html, javascript, css, etc. With this module you can create your own boxes with facebook, twitter, pinterest etc. plugins by adding code of them to any place in your shop based on PrestaShop engine. You can also buy proffesional version of this great PrestaShop feature:

1. Go to your Twitter account

For the first you must go to your Twitter account and create widget code. So, go to the Twitter and login with your account. It's important to log in into account, for which you want create a wall feed widget. After login go to account settings:

In next step you must go to the widget section. You can find link to this section in left menu. Click "Create new" button to create own widget with your twitts.

Fill the form with widget settings:

• You can define the username (it must be your account),
• height of the widget,
• you can choose theme of the widget (dark or light),
• you can check auto expand photos which mean that photos will be expanded on the twitts feed widget,
• you can specify the color of the links.
• In "domains" setting you must enter your shop url address. Ok, so if you are ready - click on "create widget" button.

After clicking on "Create widget" button the page will refresh. You can find there box with html code, copy this code into clipboard

Ok, so now you can go to your prestashop back office to create own box with this twitter feature

Log in into your account into prestashop back office

Go to modules section and find our HTML Box module on modules list and go to the module configuration page.

Select the place where you want to input the Twitter feature in your clipboard. We checked home hook, which mean place where the "homefeatured" module appears. It's right there in your shop homepage. So, select the place you want and paste copied twitter code to the box on the right. Click save settings.

Twitter feature is now added to your front office page! Refresh your shop site and you can see Twitter feed from your account!
