Gift cards Configuration and usage

This part of gift cards module documentation explains the configuration aspects of the module. Here you can read all necessary informations related to module workflow in your shop back office.

1. Main configuration
   On module configuration page (available under modules > modules section) ou can find "main settings". Here you can define when module will generate gift card and send it to customer. 
2. Create gift card product
   Gift cards are a products like other 'real' products. So everyone can order it and get dedicated gift card. This is why to make module work  we must create a gift card product first.  
3. Define the gift card value and other settings
   Gift card - in fact - is a voucher code available to use in the shop during checkout. You have to specify voucher code settings - so module after someone will order a gift card will have possibility to generate unique voucher code.
4. Associate gift card product with engine to generate gift cards
   So now it is time to define the association between gift card product you created in previous step - with engine that will generate the gift card code. This means that if someone will order previously created "gift product" - association that you can define here - will generate the gift card.
5. How to generate gift card for customer?
   You dont have to because whole process is fully automated. Below you can find description of how it works and when module generates gift cards.
6. Add predefined list of codes
   This option is for option where module will not generate voucher code automatically, but it will get one voucher from already predefined list of voucher codes. Features that i will describe here are available under Price rules menu item. (predefined gift groups, predefined gift vouchers).
