How to update MyPresta modules?

Everything depends on how often you update our modules. if you update the module regularly - its enough to just upload new .zip file to shops back office. if you update our modules from time to time it will be required to reinstall it.Below you can find details about update process - both for free and for paid addons.

How to get new zip file with module?

  1. login to your customer account here: my account
  2. go to "my orders" section
  3. search there for the order of the module
  4. download .zip library with module. When you download .zip files there - you always download recently released version of the plugin.
  1. Open our website and search there for the module you want to update
  2. hit on "download" button to get latest .zip file with module


Once you will download new zip file with plugin that you want to update - just go to your shop's back office to "modules" section. It's time for upgrade ;-)

 

How to update module in shops back office?
Firstly you need to uninstall current version of the module. Do not worry - module will remember all its settings and all datasets you entered to plugin during its configuration. Then - upload your new zip file and install module. Remember to open module configuration page or other configuration sections of plugin. There is a high probability that we added some new features that require configuration.

 

How I will know if module has some new features?
On each module page you can find special section "changelog" where you can read about module's upgrades. If some new features will be available there - we will inform about them. If some specific version of the module will require reinstallation - we will inform about it as well.
