Extra product tabs pro - module configuration page

As you already know the module configuration page that is avaialable from modules > modules section contains options that decides about global module presence and how it will behave (both in front office and in back office). Below you can read details about availabe feautres.

Select type of tabs

This section on module configuration apge allows you to decide what kind of tabs module will create. This addon is ready to use several types of tabs. The way of how tabs appear depends on your theme. Here you can select the type of tabs frequently used in templates. Just select the type that is equal to tabs used in your theme. Below you can find short description about available tabs types.

  1. Tabbed view like default tabs in PrestaShop 1.5
    • Simply saying, if your theme use old tabs which look like "real tabs" - select this option. Module will create "real" tabs then too.

  2. Wide horizontal bars like default tabs in PrestaShop 1.6
    • If you use default-bootstrap template in PrestaShop in version 1.6 this is default way of how tabs appear in this template.

  3. Custom tabs - internal module tabs engine
    • Alternatively you can display tabs in ProductFooter position. PrestaShop will display there section with tabs from module

  4. Type of tabs dedicated for PrestaShop 1.7
    • This is the last type of tabs available exclusively for 1.7.x releases of PrestaShop. This is default product tabs used by PS 1.7  classic theme.

Rich text editor

This is an option that allows to decide what kind of rich text editor module will use. You've got two possibilities: use default prestashop editor or use extended editor delivered with the module.  Differencies:

  • Default prestashop's text editor has limited features. If you use some module that extends rich text editor like tinymce pro - you can use it too. Module will use this extended editor then.
  • Internal module's text editor - this is extended rich text editor delivered with module. It extends editor with new features. It is not as much extended as "tinymce pro" but it has much more options than default one.
